Assignment #1 – Variations – Radnor Lake Bridge…

My last effort with the first assignment is from Radnor Lake.  A third of the way around the lake is a little bridge that is pretty photogenic.  Here are my 10 images for the assignment…

Assignment #1 – Variations – Copse of Trees…

This attempt at Assignment #1 is from a copse of trees in a local park.  I took a quick break from work for lunch and made my way here to shoot these images…

Assignment #1 – Variations – Foggy Caney Fork River…

For this next attempt at the Variations assignment, I shot images along the Caney Fork river here in TN.  The fog was heavy as the sun rose and I shot from a boat launch. These were all shot from the same area.

Assignment 1 – Variations – Hotel Shower…

This is my first attempt at the first photo assignment from Ted Forbes.  The assignment is “Variance” and the idea is to shoot a subject 10 times. Shooting something 3,4 5 might not be that hard, but 8, 9, 10 you are really stretching yourself to get creative.

When I saw the first assignment, I was just finishing up showering in a hotel while on a business trip. I didn’t want to waste the creative excitement, so I started shooting.

This and all future assignments will be printed and stored in my photo sketchbook.

I am looking forward to this exercise, hopefully it will help improve my photography and expand my creative mind.
